Every day your energy is focused on improving the lives of people and the community at large. We understand that funding a nonprofit organization is challenging but brings with it great reward. At Chapman, we gain a strong sense of personal satisfaction knowing that we can make a difference in the world by what we give. This care and commitment has been the catalyst for the Chapman Charitable Foundation, launched in 2000 to raise money for our dedicated clients whose mission inspires us on a daily basis. By the end of 2008, the Chapman Charitable Foundation will have donated $4.9 million to organizations operating in various sectors of the nonprofit community.


Each year the Foundation Board selects an annual-giving theme for the grant process. Our diverse group of inspirational themes has allowed us to give back to a varied, worthy collection of nonprofit and social service agencies. Some of our past themes include:
